My contribution

As overall VFX supervisor for Axis Studios I drove the project creatively and technically, with sign-off on everything from storyboards and previs through animation, assets, FX, lighting and final comp. I worked closely with showrunner Brian Taylor on developing Happy the unicorn horse in 3D, previously a comic-book-only character.

At its peak the team approached 120 people across two sites, with key supervisors reporting to me. I was heavily involved in developing the animation and lighting pipeline that let us work at previously unknown speed and complete both seasons in record time.
