My contribution

I led the VFX team from bidding through to final delivery. Our team combined FX, animation and environments to recreate a historically accurate CG Elizabethan London, the dramatic landscape of the series. We scanned sets in Wales and Italy with our Leica BLK 360, which formed the basis of all the practical set extensions.

The full-CG aerial establishers were developed while the show was still filming, to inform the edit. We built and rendered a huge amount of CG and absorbed some significant schedule and resource problems to deliver during the first COVID lockdown.
